ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

You are aware that you cannot use it in stock form, right? It will need to be modified and tuned for your engine.

I recommend getting it from xenocron tuning, but you will want to know exactly what ecu you have because some of the boards differ slightly.

I will also tell you that hondata is a nice unit, but would encourage you to look into other options.

            Mainly Neptune and ectune.

While the hondata unit works fine, they have pretty much stopped development of the software. The other two get updates with new features.

I will further encourage you to Google search, or even cb7 search about the ems systems.

I also recommend using anything other than Hondata.

eCtune & Neptune are much better for the price. Also Crome 1.6 has recently been released and runs very well with the older versions of the ostrich, Hulog and the 2 newer demon setups. Just another option to put out there that works just as well.

Chris and the team over @ Xenocron will be able to help you out with all of your ECU chipping requirements.

Hondata is overhyped and overpriced. A tuner that has a lot of experience with it can do great things, but it's no better than most other packages. It's just the most well known.

Also, having it "tuned with Hondata" doesn't mean you can just bolt it on. Hondata, or whatever tuning option you choose, is just a tool. The ECU still has to be tuned by someone that knows what they're doing.

Ok so I know I don't want to go with a stand alone system. I was leaning to get the Neptune RTP package with the p72 and Lm1 wideband it's for $920 is this a good price?
