ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

YES go check the mounts!
The shaking is only at idle, correct? At any power band while moving, it's not doing anything that's strange?

I am normally really nice but how stupid are you? Look at them. If they are broken then they are bad, If you cant even tell if you have a bad mount you should not be working on your car.
If your car is a A/T then set the parking brake and put your car in gear and see if your motor moves alot and if it shakes... That normally means you have bad mounts.

Removing the balance shaft belt does not make your engine shake at idle. They are used to counter higher rpm vibrations not actual engine shakes. It was put in so that the old farts wouldn't be able to feel the slight vibration at certain RPMs.
OP,
Do not adjust your RPM's for broken mounts. Replace them!

Its not a mod. Its stupid people making there engines run ruff. They think its less mass for the engine to turn so they will get more power if they cut the belt. I only vote delete them if you are doing a build.
And I for one HAVE done the MOD, Yes it's a mod. And my car shakes a tad at lower rpms, but the throttle response is better and it helps on the top end. I don't know where your getting your info from, but I disagree with it.
And maybe he doesn't know enough about cars or as you stated too lazy. So what, give him a couple of ideas and if he won't listen or accept the help, stop posting on his thread, pretty simple. He came here to ask a question and got shit on by the usually nice guy.Originally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence. I am the smartest person I know : )
