ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Internal/External Coil Issues

The following is text i found on a guide of h22a swap into a 93 accord .

"If your car came equipped with an internal coil then the jdm h22 distributor will plug right
in no problem. However, if your car had external coil then you will have to modify one plug.
The plug you will need to modify is the plug that went to the stock coil. There are is a yellow
and a yellow/black wire, splice those 2 wire together. The green wire is useless, dont worry
    about it"

ok now help me understand this part "The plug you will need to modify is the plug that went to the stock coil. There is a yellow
and a yellow/black wire, splice those 2 wire together" what plug is it talking about? the one on the engine or the one coming out of the accord harness ? am just stuck here..

It's talking about the plug that goes to the external ignition coil. You'll need to modify the wiring so that it works with the H22's internal coil. OR, get a USDM H22 distributor, as they are external. OR, read the DIY thread by uslspct that tells you how to convert an internal coil distributor to external (ignore the modifications to the car's harness, as you already have it wired for external... so only pay attention to the part that deals with the distributor itself.)

If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll try to get a picture of my car. I have a 92 that is running an H22 with the internal coil conversion. I didn't do it myself (I paid a shop to do it when I was a noob...)

The plug that goes to the coil. Put a 30a fuse in it. Thats only if you have a external wiring.
