ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Like I said is there a solution to this problem?Originally posted by rockredtail View PostIt's the edge of the rim scraping your sway bar endlink I bet. I have Sawblades and they do the same thing! Thought it was just me but if you really search the site there are other cases of it happening w/ prelude wheels.

I'm guessing u found the replies u were looking for but when i started wearing my Si shoes on my cb7 i experienced the same metal to metal contact whenever i would make sharp turns. After miles of driving it went away and i haven't heard that sound ever since, only when i first started wearing them. I believe it may have to do with the offset not sure.. or maybe after a while the wheels settled on the hubs properly. However when i first experienced the noise i noticed the inside lip of the rim had a very small indent and it appeared as that's the only place it would rub.
I went to a couple shops askin about my problem after i got my alignment done and they irritated me with their responses. Suggested that they cut out a small piece so it wouldn't rub.. no. Then they asked if they were the rims that the car came with and i replied no, he then said that's why, cuz they weren't meant for our cars -_-. The response that aggravated me least was the suggestion of spacers. But my car has been fine with them since, just ride it out for a lil and see if the wheels settle properly

Metal on metal is never a good thing man, I'm just gonna be careful not to go into steering lock.Originally posted by youngflyndsaved View PostI'm guessing u found the replies u were looking for but when i started wearing my Si shoes on my cb7 i experienced the same metal to metal contact whenever i would make sharp turns. I believe in that theory as well, but i checked on it often and the wheels aren't makin contact with the hub anymore. And even when it was it would barely touch it, only on the wheel with the dent.Originally posted by AAPOQ View PostMetal on metal is never a good thing man, I'm just gonna be careful not to go into steering lock.
