My question is if anyone ever had trouble with 92-93 si wheels, not sawblades the 7spoke. I just got some used and I noticed while turning hard in reverse the fronts scrape. Going forward is fine though. Any insite would be great. thanks in advance!

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It could be the size. When u go in reverse the engine and front end goes forward because of the "momentum" I guess u could say and so if it's a bigger size that could be it.1993 10th Anniversary MRT

SI wheels
The wheels are 15x6.5 which is an inch bigger than the stock wheels (15x5.5). I can't find where anyone has had this problem. I can turn the wheel all the way right or left and not scrape but reverse I have to be careful.

I have the 4g Lude 7 spokes on mine with 205/55-15s... The never rubbed once on me. Check around to see if any splash shields or anything Is hanging a little low or out of place.

I think they look aight, aside from mine being painted (poorly) by their old owner lol. Good luck man.90 LX 5spd 2dr (2011-2014)

Ahh i see.. All I can say is see if you can locate where exactly its scraping and go from there. And also maybe your wheels are wider than mine I'm not exactly sure on the width. Sorry I can't be of more help...Originally posted by AAPOQ View PostBTW its metal on metal scraping.90 LX 5spd 2dr (2011-2014)

Tires aren't rubbing, I haven't lowered the car yet, and I just took 17x7 rims off that were fine today. With all my other wheels on this car I can turn lock to lock without grind/scrape. The problem is definetly Si rim scraping on something. But if nobody has heard of this issue I guess I'm on my own. I will post result when solved. Hopefully
P.S. Thank you everyone and tire size isn't the issue. Like I said its metal on metal, no tire rub.Last edited by AAPOQ; 10-09-2011, 04:29 AM.
