ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Camshaft holder

i just broke my camshaft holder like a dumbass trying to tighten down my dizzy to the head. does anyone know where i can buy just the camshaft holder and not an entire set.i already checked 4 junkyards in my area and called 2 of them, none of them have any preludes with h22a. all i can find is f22.i also checked hondapartsdeals.com and they dont sell just the camholder by its self.

I have been told in the past that the part is machined to match the head, and any replacement may result in the camshaft not fitting properly, and could result in it binding, and snapping.
I have not confirmed this. I'm only repeating what I've been told by a more knowledgeable friend, quite some time ago. It may be wrong.

If it's just an F22A head, they come pretty cheap.

damn...that sucks. i just got this head machined and everything. do you guys think ill be able to get away with just having the 2 bolts holding the dizzy on? its the upper right side that broke.and if i took it to a machine shop what would they do? weld it back together? this is a h22, so the head is gonna cost a bit more then an f22

nah stock, but its the same principle. ive never had problems with 2 bolts holding it. and im sure many other honda owners havent either. ive heard of people running d-series dizzy on a b-series. all you gotta do is cut the upper ear off and it bolts on.

You can have the part that you broke tig welded back on.

Im pretty sure 2 bolts will hold. I have a f22 and only had 1 bolt in it and it ran just fine till i blew a head gasket and fried my ring lmao.
