[Accord problems]

Hello im haveing fan problems. I just replaced my motor a few days sooner than planned.
And now my fans dont come on like they use to after turning car off. It would come on every single time I shut the car off. After replaceing the motor . I replaced both fans with relays and switches. Is this good or bad? They still come on like there supposed to when
the car is running.

When you replaced your motor did you replace the thermostat? I wonder if your old thermostat was on it's way out the door and the new one is running the car at a lower temp so the fans do not need to come on.

If the fans work like normal when the car is on, I really would not worry about it. My fans have never come on after I shut the car off.

i will try to help you. i understand you are use to the fans coming on after you turn the car off but that is not normal. if your coolling system is working properly the fans will almost never come on unless the ac is on or bumper to bumper driving.
i live in florida so you understand im not saying this and live in alaska.

on the thermostat housing behind and to the left of the cylinder head
there is a coolant temp sensor
if you unplug this sensor and jump it with the key on it will test the fans

I replaced every thing that has to do with the cooling system . All relays sensors fans thermostat . And all oem parts from honda. Even the radiator.

The I would say, your car is running as it should, I would be happy my fans do not come on when the car is shut of. If the motor is not running, it generally should not get any warmer......, so it will cool off on its own.

But they would stay on for ever befor othere motor blown. But I never had a over heating problem . Not even the water .
