ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Anything over there besides the water pump?

Anything that isn't the water pump? Please?

water pipe is there which leads to the water pump, some heater core hoses are on that side too, maybe those are more near the center if i recall.

I haven't had a chance to peak up under there, but it looks like it's coming more from the front. Actually, it drips off the oil pan/timing belt cover it seems.
I'm hoping it's the rad. My timing belt isn't due for another 40k miles and I don't want to do it right now.

Side note: When I park, it drips to about a 6 inch diameter spot, then stops.
I'm pretty sure it's coolant. It tasted sweet but bitter.

Very good possibility it's the water pump. Take the upper timing belt cover off and see if you can find the leak or any wet spots.

if you have some car ramps or even better a lift you should check to see if the water pipe is leaking from A. Rusting through B. An oring that has been worn out or C. Those hoses that im referring to as heater core hoses leaking.

id do that 1st because its easy lol

Damn. I don't really want to do that, especially this time of year.

I've always been against stop leak, but I might actually use some to get me to the summer, depending on where it's leaking from

One last question: I recently fixed my upper rad hose and added just generic brand coolant to make up the difference. Would that cause leaking?

Highly doubtful that your new coolant would case a leak, unless it was really straight acid instead of coolant.

I actually just got O-rings for my water pump intake pipe yesterday, sort of a pain to find. Everyone online wanted $2 for them but $15 in shipping. I ended up finding them at a honda dealer for $3 each... just some FYI since I could not find them at any autoparts store. Also the job to fix them is not that tough either.

However if it looks like it is coming out of the front, you can almost rule out the pipe leaking.
