ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Passenger power lock problem

Ok so I've searched a few pages. But no help. And I was wondering if the passenger side has a little box for the power locks like the driver side. When I hit my lock switch from the driver side I can only hear the front and back driver side lock. But the passenger side doesn't do anything and doesn't click. Any help would be appreciated

I'm unsure about a black box as I have yet to tear into the door panels but have you checked all fuses?

Heres the electrical diagram for the power door locks.

If you need more wiring diagrams for any reason, check out this thread: [INFO] Chassis Electrical System - Typical Wiring Diagram Scans

EDIT: There seems to be only 1 actuator for the driver side front, that should control the rest of the locks. I would suggest getting out a test light, and see if your getting power to the motors on the passenger side. If you are then the motors are likely dead for whatever reason.

It might be the attenuator. That can happens. Before this happens this your lock makes that whining sound but the lock does not go down? Any sound when hitting the lock switch?

Just my input... But to my knowledge there is only one which is located in the driver door. Ive torn into three coupes before, never saw one in the passenger side of any of them.

              Hey,
I can't help on this one b/c I helped my friend replaced one but it was a 91 sedan and if I remember correctly, we bought a used attenuator from Ebay for the front passenger's side. It's been working since. Mine is making the pre-failure noise. Whenever I have all the doors lock except the driver's side. I press the lock switch to lock all doors, I get that short whine noise from the front passenger's side. Nothing in the rear.
