Ok just curious now, I know someone with a 89 accord motor, with cv shafts, could I swap in the 89 motor into my 91 or would it not be worth it?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Dear god no! I started in the Honda world with a 3rd gen. A20A4 or A5 to be exact. They are reliable but thats it. No power or aftermarket support. The spark plugs are angled in the exhaust side of the head and are cocked just a tad. Poor design IMO. There is alot i could go on and say about them but ill just say this. They suck. I was a member of 3geez for a while. They all want our engines. lol

The A20A and the F22A are TOTALLY different animals. I know... I have 3 A20As on my property right now.
They have an iron block, which is good and bad. Good because it's strong as hell. Bad because it's heavy as hell.
But no, getting an A20A into a CB7 would require so much work it wouldn't be worth it. Especially since you'd be losing .2L of displacement, 5hp, and you'd have to convert your car to OBD0. As SWMO said, there is no aftermarket support to speak of. You'd be better off doing the necessary work to install a B series. At least that has some support!

Just go buy a junkyard engine and replace gaskets. After all that work it's not super cheap bit I'd say it's better than buying a car for its 20+ year old engine that's probably not terribly far away from a rebuild itself. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!
