ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
As a member of this community, you are expected to know and follow the rules. READ THEM HERE!

    harmonic blancer pully tool

OK how many of you have had to rent this or buy or make ur own. ? I recently was driving down the road n heard a massive knocking sound I originally thought it was a rod knock. Upon further investigations I found my harmonic balanced pully bouncing off the frame rail telling me that BC of the rotation of the Eng it shoulsent come loose but also Tue kid who did Eng work before I bought it obviously didn't have it properly tourqed now that I got it off I have to get a new pully not only because of my p/s delete I'm doing but the huge hunks missing out of the pully due to bouncing off the frame. Also got a clicking coming from rig front on hard acceleration and braking. Started after doing brakes n rotors what. Pain in the ass that was. But ne one round upstate NY. Could help me out n let me know where I can find this dayum tool.

the balancers aren't pressed on. it should slide off with a few whacks with a hammer.

theres a certain technique that i use with a pry bar and a hammer.
          I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

You will not find a non-power steering pulley at a junkyard in the United States. When people use a single-row pulley it's one from either the H23A VTEC or H22A Euro-R (Type-R in Europe).

Bad grammar as a result of typing on a phone is no excuse. I type 85% of my posts from my iPhone and do absolutely nothing I wouldn't do typing on a computer. I get that it takes a lot of time and you feel that your time is important to you, but so should be the sanity of those who will be reading your posts. Please form cogent sentences in the future.

Something tells me it's in the DIY section.
For future reference: Go to advanced search, enter the desired words you would like to search for in the box on the left and then highlight the section in the list on the right. Want to search in more than one section? Hold CTRL and select another. Due to people not using proper grammar you may have to search for slang words sometimes since people are incapable of typing correctly.

find a safe spot to pry the balancer foward and in the same spot, tap the balancer with a hammer.

what you are simulating is basically wiggling it off.

You need this, or the actual Honda tool.

The power steering pulley will need a removal kit.
                      They rent them at Autozone.

Nearly all of my posts anymore are from my droid since i don't have internet at my house. I also make sure to use proper grammar and punctuation. Typing on a phone is not an excuse.
