ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

If you need it I can draw a more clear photo of the install to fill in the gaps you are missing, the diagram you drew is close but not correct. But I feel it would be easier to just swap the guts over from the new dizzy to the old one. There should be the ICM and CYP sensors only in the new dizzy since it is external. Just swap both over if you can't determine the CYP sensor.
If you don't mind I'd really like that photo, haha.

Just so I have something to reference to when disassembling the rest of the distributor.

Alright so here's an update! Sorry it's been a while, been extremely busy with work and college.

      [UPDATE: 1-3-'13]

Took the h22 external coil dizzy, gutted the inside, took f22 dizzy guts and swapped over to h22 dizzy. Went great, looks good.

I started off wanting to try it with the internal coil pack I had lying in the garage, wired it up, put it all together and went out to the car. Threw the dizzy back on and put the spark plugs in the correct firing order, tried starting it! .... Turned over, and nothing.. Sounded like it was out of timing or no spark.

So I took the internal coil pack out and ran it as an external coil with the msd blaster coil. Once again, tried firing it up, it cranked, even fired! Started and immediately died abruptly. I mean it sounded like the motor was gonna fall out. So I didn't do it again. I know it's getting
      A. - Spark
      B. - Fuel
      C. - Air
      D. - Power

So it leaves me with the timing issue? .. Could it be the timing is so far off? I made sure the rotor inside the dizzy is pointing towards the #1 cylinder before re-installing on the car. Sorry for no pics, I promise I'll take some tomorrow. I have to go to work now. Thanks for any replies!! ANY help is GREATLY appreciated!

Hey guys, it's been a while. I have a question about the dizzy.

Could someone PLEASE do me the BIGGEST favor EVER and post a picture or information on how the crankshaft, nipple, etc. I really need to know how all this is aligned inside the dizzy, i believe it's what's causing my ecu to throw codes.
