Can anyone tell the difference between the two, running IAB with the P13 vs the chipped P28 open IAB's

What do you mean "can anyone tell the difference"? There's a big difference!
Since the P28 would require a custom tune, that result could vary greatly. Also, you CAN add IAB controls to a P28 (essentially, converting it to a P72)

I have my p28 tunned by rich of rich tunned. I cannont tell the difference, its smoother with the fuel mixture but power wise it feels the same. You have to add the IAB to the P28, it can not be done simply by computer tunning

If the P28 has had the IAB circuit components added, yes the IAB's can be tuned with a computer. Without the IAB mod on the ECU. It would have to be tuned without IAB's. There is a difference in the bottom end...mid and top end would be the same with wide open IAB's.

That's all in the tune! You have to fine tune the idle, ECT & IAT maps. That or your IACV is acting up. The IACV activation can also be changed in the tune.

^ good to know. i swapped iacv's and nothing changed. so i figured it was in the tune.
