ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

itll cause some turbulence, if i was doing it tho, id get one of those cheap aluminum throttle body spacers and bore it out to make the transition smooth from the tb to the plenum.

For the price that you paid, you could have got an Omni Power TB in the size that you need/want.

damn youd pay 30 bucks for that turd looking adapter? and still have to get a npt brass barb it looks like. Ive seen the adapter with the barb already part of the piece somewhere. heres a block off plate for 12 obo. why not even snag a map sensor the plug with a bit of wire and the little oring from the j/y and wire it in, its really easy.

I don't get what you mean with map wiring thing.
and my map sensor is a black box next to the battery, above the small intake. Tube(scoop?)

If your bay is still stock. Your manifold air pressure (MAP) sensor should be located in a black box mounted to the firewall above/behind the intake manifold. The black box should have a couple vacuum hoses and sensors inside it.

The black box on the intake tube is an air resonator solenoid.... it's there for noise reduction!

Unless you have altered your bay, then you would have to post pictures for us to see what has been changed.

If I'm not mistaken that is the vacuum for the MAP sensor.

the red hose its for the charcoal canister fumes any vac source will work. yes you have a map sensor in the black box on the firewall that gets its vacuum from a hose. i meant put a map sensor where you have tape on the throttle body.

Again I appreciate your time and patient in helping me. I bypass some open vacuum hose. I'll post up a pic in a min.

For the kickdown... Is there a modficaton way or I have to use oem style?
