ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Help PLEASE! Emergency!

O.k so i'm driving back from work today... As I'm accelerating from a stop sign from a dead stop, the car won't shift into 2nd gear (The rpm's just climb until redline and then it shifts) If I put it through the gears myself it almost always shifts (but I hafta do it myself) when I'm accelerating from a stop I have no power until the car starts picking up speed I'll shift from 1rst to 2nd (nothing will happen, but when I go from 2nd to 3rd it'll shift)

When I stopped for gas I re-started the car and it gave me a nasty screeching grinding sound as it started and gave a small buck. (It never did this before)

The car will not take off in first gear nor will it downshift to 1rst gear. Instead, I think it's taking off in 2nd, possible?

Please tell me my tranny is not dead!!! and it's something else!

Is that normal for all of that stuff to have started today and got progressively worse in the distance of 5km and only 20 minutes? It was running fine the whole rest of the day! WTF!!!???

*Oh yeah, 92 accord ex 4door 2.2L automatic (if that helps)

so when you try to go does it just rev and take a long time to go. if you punch the gas do you not get any power. do you drive the car hard. do you red line the car every time you drive it, if you do then you prob spun a bearing. do you hear any knocking noises from under the hood coming from the block. any knocking at all. let me know i think you migh have spun a bearing. wich in that case your gunna need a new engine.

Well when was your last tranny flush and tranny filter replaced? Also is the tranny grinding? Is it engine? Starter? Ring gear on the torque converter may be bad but doubtful, torque converter could be goin, tranny could be goin, engine could be goin etc.! ALWAYS TRY THE EASIEST THINGS FIRST! Like a tranny service, at honda round here is only like 80bux so! Try that first!

      WaC!
