what kind of anit freeze?

Any one really. You can use the universal or the house brand which is usually green. Honda themselves also have one thats already blended which is blue.

I use to use the Honda one but since my dad's been out of work i havent gotten any more freebies from Honda. Ummm now i use the all season 50-50 i forget who makes it...it works good...i want to drain my shit and clean it out and set it up for summer.

I just go buy some cheap, unmixed anti-freeze and mix it with water myself, cause I don't feel like paying for water when I can get it at home for free, and mix it myself

just get the prestone 50/50 pre-mixed so you don't have to worry about the mixing part. it's more expensive, and you are getting less coolant but it saves you from the headaches.

I don't use anti-freeze, I use straight H2O.

Honda Longlife Antifreeze Type II

You want a mix since you want to use the antifreeze to somewhat lubricate and coat the inside of the hoses and such. Which is basically the job of the antifreeze and to help prevent corrosion. Just FYI. If you use straight up H20 it will work but after a while it will corrode the innards of the cooling system.

Oen Honda antifreeze/coolant. since i have use it, its keeps my car about 4* cooler then normal coolants.
