Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

stock flywheel or aftermarket? stock ones are already marked, but most aftermarket ones arent... if youre installing a new flywheel, line the two up next to each otehr and make the marks on the new flywheel.

If youre just reusing your stock flywheel, you dont need to make any marks... theres an alignment peg that makes it so it can only go on one way.

with a new clutch kit right (friction disc and pressure plate) ? with new equipment like this, as long as all the pegs line up, itll all go on straight.

i talked to a guy at honda and he said that just put it on and make sure its the right way and its fine. you should get a tools that come with the flywheel.

There are markings on the edge of the flywheel for timing that you would want to transfer onto an aftermarket flywheel for use with a timing light and such. I lined the two flywheels up and scratched the marks into the new one with a pick. BUT it sounds like you might be referring to how you're supposed to mark the relationship between the flywheel and pressure plate so that you can put them back together the same way.....like if you wanted to re-use the old pressure plate. Honda may have made those so they only go on one way, I'm not sure, but the flywheel only goes on one way because of the pin....and most of the time you don't need to resurface it. Good luck and don't worry about any of the crap I just talked about.

And use the plastic alignment tool (that should be in your kit) to hold the clutch disc in the center while you tighten down the pressure plate, there's a specific tightening pattern and bolt torque (19ft/lbs.) Just in case you don't know, that's the part you really need to get right.

have a friend with a breaker bar hold the crankshaft bolt. I bought a specialty tool that holds the hex part of the actual pulley (sjdiscounttools.com #60100,$40), which is cool because it won't loosen the pulley. The flywheel bolts are 76ft/lbs, so if you just use a 19mm socket to hold the crankshaft pulley bolt (181ft/lbs) the flywheel bolts should come loose first for sure. By the way, if that bolt does come loose, tighten it with the tranny on, in 5th gear with a friend holding the brake to keep the motor from turning. Good luck...here's a pic of that tool, it's sweet.
