ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Get a CAI. I have experiences with both. Short ram is coo on the take off but with Hondas you want high end power. We already have torque over a lot of imports. Plus the CAI sucks straight cold air which equals more HPs. That and it sounds so much deeper once you hit to second gear! Go AEM... V2 if they make em for our CBs

I got my cai for $30 shipped man go for a cai. SR is much more a placebo affect in terms of actual power. The throttle response is much more instant but only for an instant. Just like how a high end bmw may kill your car but if you were in it still feel smooth and therefore deceivingly not as powerfull as it really is, so is a CAI. I've run both for a decent time. The CAI isn't just high end it's pretty much better in the whole range. While for a split second you don't feel it, overal you will pull harder. As for brands, yes, a $200-$400 brand may give you 3-5hp because of better design and perhaps heat resistance, yet I'll still take my $30 cai with a $5 can of high temp heat resistant paint and pocket the $150 plus difference to put towards other mods that will overal yeild even more power.

And yet the rob-your-walet AEM was tested against a homeade CAI, and an icebox cai (or something like that made to run cool) and the homeade one that was coated with high temp paint was the coolest after running in traffic for a few hours... get a $30-$50 cai from ebay and a $5 can of high temp paint and coat it and you are good.Originally posted by HondaB18pipings for the name brand intakes are different from just the "regular ebay" pipings. the name brand have been coated with a special paint that insulates cooler air
