ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Please I really need some help!

I dont no where to begin. My dash and tail lights do not light up, every time i put the smal light fuse in it pops immediately. Also my headlights do not turn off. When I turn the head light switch nothing happens at all, even when the switch is off the headlights are still on. To turn them off i have to take out the lighting relay. Has anyone else suffer the same problem, This seems like a big electrical nightmare to me, please HELP ME!

if your poping fuses that means you have a short. someone probably messed around with some wires and messed something up. later.

x2 on the nightmare man....sounds like some serious shit. Who'd you buy the car from? id take it to them-actually, id get it goin at about 10-15mph, jump out and let it cruise on into their living room then climb through the wreckage, find the guy and kick him in the testicles.

If the previous owner/dealer wont fix it, you may end up having to go to a dealership/mech and have them figure that shit out. Unless you can like pull the ECU or the main fuse that controls everything

okay.. since the headlight will NOT turn off.. let me think.. if u have a 100watts light blub in that headlights. and u have a system strong with no capacitor.. then ur using alot of juice on the battery (depending on ur battery) causin the headlight wire to burn.. this begin to happen when the light start to dim cuz i had always burn the wires and it was nasty on my first honda accord 91. now i got a honda accord 93. i would say take out that light blub and put a regular 55watts for now. and the wires that hold that light blub u gonna have to check it throughtly. it is damage somewhere makin contact. follow the headlight wires u'll find sumthing funny. as far as the interior and all that . u probably got a wire burn on the parkin lights. it plays a small roll in the interior lights. but to be for real. u gonna have to check all those wires related to lights. i would say check all the wires that's connect custom. like neon lights, l.e.d.s lights. all that stuff. cuz he might've install it ghetto as hell with no tape coverin the wires. ur gonna have to tape em. check under the dash or any explose wires. then try putting a new fuse back in.

Open up a repair manual to the wiring diagram for your car, and start checking the wires. You've got a short somewhere.

There is a Day Time Running Relay that controls a lot of the cars lights including rear lights. If that is old and the contacts are fried, then it will cause fuses to blow. its located right under the dash to the left of the steering wheel.

Check this. I got a new one from the Honda Dealership for 90CAD.

maybe this pic helps to locate the relay.
