ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    What makes CB7's so fun?

I don't understand it. I have a 92lx coupe 5spd, it used to be my brothers. I always knew I was going to get it but I never wanted it. Now that I have it and I've learned so much on here, plus worked on it, it's an addiction. I used to look at it as a piece of shit but now I look at it like it's the best car. It kind of makes me mad when people tell me it's a good car to learn on and stuff like that since I love the car so much. People just act like it's a pos. For some reason it's just really fun to drive and I think they look awesome. I think about my brothers STi and stuff but I feel like you can just customize cb7's so much, no one cb7 is a like. I'll probably buy a prelude in a couple years anyway but what makes these cars so addicting?!

Well first off all one of the reasons for me is the body! i love the body of the cb7. second is that you could pretty much costomize the whole car. and man they are just plain sexy like i said

The reason i love cb7's more is because over here in NYC when it comes to racing if you own an Interga or a Civic it's off to the races & "Honda Accord's" stick around to supply the "MUSIC"

thats why i'm saving money! i've been saving money for a long time now because my Cb7 is gonna eats those civic and integra asses.
I just dont know wich swap to get F20B or H22A

street beuty h22 trust me the f20 is like an economy motor. the vtec is kinda useless on it

Maybe he meant the f22b doch non-vtech jdm. In that case I don't know, but the h22 puts out 40 more hp stock, so aside from the cost I don't see the real reason for f22b.

I think street_beauty was talking about the F20B DOHC which is similar to the H22A, but destroked to 2.0 to make it legal for classes of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).

It's a more rev-happy motor that makes less peak torque than the H22A. It's more expensive as well.

My frist CB7 was a 91 LX auto with like 289xxx(the least amount of kms on all of the 3 cb7s I have owned) And I just wanted to rock the 5spd as I knew a few ppl with a 5spd version and they seemed to have alot more pep to them.
And your rite some ppl look at a stock accord and see a pos but I mean thats to the untrained eye. Im a bodyman myself by trade and I love the body of a CB7 chassis the whole structure is very Nice. I actually ended up chopping my roof rear end and 1/2 pannels of my LX as it became a donar car for my EX-R which I had stumbled upon at an impound yard for 200 bucks. Then I fuckt that up pretty good when my back tire blew out on a turn. I have replaced every body pannel - the trunk lid lol that hit a tree but opend up and somhow is fine. Ill be posting up some pics as I get a bit more work done.,I recently bought a 4dr 90 EX and I love that just like all the other kids. But my point was that the car with all its vitals left in tack is solid as a rock without the roof and 1/2s lol. If it was braced it would be both crazy light and crazy looking(ill post some pics of it soon). But my gf even got mad once anc called my car a pos lol, but once I fuckt it she sure did apreshate the fact that it gets me everywheres and Ive never had one stop running other then when my dizzy cap was old and got wet. other then that I have over 500,xxx on my EX-R (Non rebuilt), 330 on my LX and 340 on my EX, My friends EX-R has 330 this month. They are very reliable when you know what your riding on, I cant waite to have a wonderful suspension and a very clean built motor. Along with my EX-R being finished .....

This will give you an Idea of what I did to the car lol, and how its coming along. The whole front end is done and primed to the back of the doors, I still have to weld in my new roof and rear window deck and sail pannels.Car is a dream to work on the uni-body wasnt even damaged and this car spun around 3 times while being in a 4 ft ditch at the time going about 80. Then while spinning around airborn it hit a tree (thats what crushed my roof) and then sat nose facing the road in the ditch and the rear hung up on a tree. fun stuff , my poor baby had a few bruises

i love CB's for the simple fact that everyone has a civic or a integra and when you pull up to the line with a grocery getter no one expects anything. Love sleepers.

Yeah, I find that too. I love mine, all my friends make fun of it. They have brand new cars... But having an older car is fun. And can't beat the body style. It's also pretty lightish for a 4-door sedan.
