ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    cant decide

So i know that there has been thousands of threads on this but, i am loosing sleep, not really, but its always on my mind, cuz i can't decide wat motor to build. So i got the h23a1 and the f22a1. My question is, what one should i build and boost? cost really isn't a factor i would rather know, which can be built stronger and faster? but also be reliable. i don't wnt an h22, unless its comes upon me like the h23.. i dont wnt to spend 2 grand on a motor i would rather drop 2grand into one. thanks guys!!!!!!

sounds like you should go with the F Series....

    Its a very underrated motor!

Everyone does the H Series and boosts!

    Be different, do the F.

Search on here and look for the thread on Bizi's setup......he has an F series Drag car!!!

Saying youd rather spend 2 grand in a motor as opposed to on one suggests that the F series is for you.

After all is said and done with a swap, you wont have much left over to put into it(out of that 2k)

h23a1's are high in torque, if you want to build a ridiculously powerful motor go with the h23.

I have to agree with Ralphie. If you want something powerful but reliable, stick with the F series. And definatly search for Bizi. Later

Yea, i also agree with Ralphie. the H23 is all aluminium, and the F22 is cast iron. aluminium is lighter but weaker. if you boost an H23 too much than its done. but id imagine that u could boost more with a stronger block, like the F22.

if i still had my f22 id boost rather then spend money for a h22

I'd boost the f22b1 before anythign else, maybe because I laready have it but its possibly the best engine to build up and boost, it can handle so much power because the bottom end is so rock solid. I'm going to be throwing 300whp at it with just head studs and I'm not even remotely worried about blowing it up. H series is getting played out, go F series all the way.

Bottom end is strong on b1 because it is identical to the f22a motors. the head however is a different story flows worse than the f22a.

O, I wasn't aware they had the same bottom end, guess you learn something new everyday! Yea, the head doesn't flow very well on the b1 tho, I'll def. agree with you there. A swaped head would work well tho.
