ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    which engine shouldIbuild?

i am planning on building an engine to spool up a Mater Power T04E 60 trim turbo but i am stuck trying to figure out which engine would be the best choice for my turbo. i kind of like the idea of keeping the F22 in the car but i have alot of trouble finding performance parts of the motor. i have been seriouslythinking about swaping in an H22 but i dont want to spend a whole buch of money swaping in the engine after i build it. i appreciate any suggestions you can give me. thanx!

Look into a F22b non vtec duel cam. more hp the f22 and is pretty much a bolt in motor.

yep boost a f22b. i mean since u have the turbo get the jdm f22b.

its very similar to the h23.
the f22b does drop rite in.
              95% direct bolt in.

              welcome to cb7tuner.com

if the f22b is 95% direct bolt in, the h22 is 93% direct bolt in.

pick any motor you feel is a good platform, you really wont be spending any extra money or much extra time putting a certain motor in over any other.

NO not the f22b SOHC, the JDM f22b DOHC... the sohc is vtec, and plus the dohc has more tuneablility and more power to work with wen boosting. About the same power as the GSR motor with more torque

the other 5 percent is that the side engine mount doesn't directly fit, 2 out of the 3 bolts will fit but it will drop in and work just fine

are there alot of performance parts that i can buy like i could if i went for the h22? I kind of want a strong motor so i can run about 15 psi every day and about 20-25 psi when i go to the race track. i have seen a H22 on ebay one time that was built to withstand up to 35 psi and rev up to arounf 9,000 rpms. i think it was an all out race motor though.
