ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Convert to 92-93 manual belts. $50 or less at a junkyard, I'm sure.

92-93 seatbelts have no motor. You reach behind you and pull... You get the part that goes on the B pillar behind the seat and all attachment points. I'm not sure if your current buckle will work (the part with the button that your current lap belt clips into) You can test that out on another junkyard car if you wish. For cosmetic reasons, pull out the track and motor and replace it with the 92-93 trim.

trust me man, if you dont want any future problems, get the 92-93 ones.

deev is there any electrical with the belts. because as i recall when you slam the breaks in the 92-93s the belt gets locked until the brakes are released.

I've never dealt with the belts directly... every car I've ever worked on for any amount of time has been 92-93... but I wouldn't doubt that there would be a feature like that.

If the problem with the belts is electrical, I would just replace the motor and see what happens. Check the fuses as well, before you do anything at all. If you replace the motor, ensure the fuses are good, and can prove that the motor is getting power (and is working) then it's a mechanical issue and should be on Honda.

it would be easier just to replace the one track seat belt that is bad. doing the conversion will take more time. you will need the panels, seatbelts, the thing were the seatbelts clicks to on the seat or the whole seat. some bolts. and the headache

just go to the junkyard, take the rail off. pay like 30 bucks at the most and put it in your car. this will be easier than converting, but if you really want to convert then go right ahead.

                      just my .02 cents

no..i don't think i want to convert since it will be taking too much time and too much parts..

i will double check than go to junkyard..good idea
