Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Lets see what oil everyones using...

    Just wondering what brand and type of engine and tranny oil everyones running.Also what oil filters do you prefer?And if you can tell a difference from any others you have used.For me its...

    Engine-Royal purple 10-30 with lucas oil stabilizer
    Tranny-Valvoline VR6 racing oil straight 30 weight
    Oil FIlter-Wix

    I could tell a big difference in the tranny when i switched over to the VR6.It shifts alot smoother.And the royal purple with additive seems to help in gas mileage and a small gain in power from less friction.ANd i hate fram due to a purchase of one with a hole in it(and no i didnt do it).And i heard wix was good and havent had any problems yet.

        Honda OEM ATF.

        Its all free so why go elsewhere? And its engineered for our cars. My shit runs good.

                Valvoline full synthetic 5-30. Good shit, i noticed MASSIVE improvement especially on fuel economy. went up 5 MPG compared to the quaqer state shit i used to use. Also it only costed me 30 bucks for 5 litres. cant go wrong.

                      castrol GTX high mileage and or anti-sludge
                      mobile one oil filter or similar quality
                      only used honda manual tranny fluid

                      ...upon changing my oil over 3k...it is noticably more clear than valvoline.

                      Also...RP has a very bad reputation...

                          Castrol regular 10w30 .. just replaced the head gasket along with other gaskets.. need to break them in before I switch to full syn.

                            I have no idea what kind of oil is in the tranny, but I know its 80W
                            MR Thread- I brought SEXY back- LOL
                            If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacement anyway.

                              Next time when I do the oil change and it decides to stop raining:
                              Amsoil 10w30
                              Amsoil filter
