ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

There's NO reason to run larger injectors without significant mods (like turbo, a big shot of nitrous, supercharger, or a wild NA build)

you might be able to get away with running bigger injectors if u throw in a bigger cam and and upgrade your entire intake. a cai or sri wont cut it in that sense.

I think he goin turbo later but he wants the injectors on first. You can put them on no harm will be done other than dumping an abnormal amount of fuel in the chamber. The DSM is 2x the CC of the f22a injectors. If you can chip your p06 and alter the map you can run the 450cc on your car.

With a chipped ECU & Tune you could run the 450's. It would be a waste of 210cc's but it will run. The 450's would probably be running @ approx 55% duty cycle to match the flow rates of the stock 240cc injectors.

I wouldn't suggest running them without a tuned EMS / chipped & tuned ECU. I would just wait until you get your turbo. You will see little to no gains running 450's on a stock motor.

Injectors are quick and easy to swap out, for the most part. Get the injectors, stick them on a shelf, and wait until you have all your turbo parts.

i never really specified a size... all i was stating is that if he did a serious overhaul on his intake he could get away with goin bigger.

you told me "i might get away with having bigger injectors if i have a moddified cam and build intake mani."

and i told you that still to much (of fuel). you have to understand that you dont need much fuel to run a car. the less fuel you use and the more air you have, the faster the car is.

cams and moddified intake manifolds have nothing to do with fuel ratio. thats all about air ratio. getting more air into the cylinders. the fuel system is the fuel ratio. the less fuel the more air the better the explosion.

                              WoW!!! can you say DETONATION!

Have you ever heard the saying "You can't have one without the other" that's why they call it AFR (Air to Fuel Ratio) The amount of air you add directly influences the amount of fuel you need to add. So yes your cam and intake do have a lot to do with your fuel ratio.

You are planning on running a Turbo correct. You do realize that they are a heat making machine....hope you have some plans to run water injection to keep your lean AFR engine from melting.
