What HID Kit are you Guys Using?

I just want to get an idea of what brand of HID kits you guys are using for the CD5?
This will be my first time attempting to convert my OEM lights to HIDs
I'm planing on using low beam 8000K lights from this website:

Has any one tried this kit before?

Are you going to do a retrofit on your headlights?
from what ive been hearing DDM is by far the cheapest and most reliable aftermarket HID around.
Dont go with 8000k thats too blue, go with 5000k or 6000k at most, that has a better light output...

so true. I bought a pair from ddm about a month back and couldn't be more happy.

oh and there 6000ks which i must say are exactly what i was looking for, clear white light with a hint of blue. ddm is the way to go

OEM is always better quality but if you wanna do the cheap route I recommend using a D2S bulb by getting a casper shield adapter. It helps tone down the glare effect on other drivers a lot but you will get better output than OEM for sure.

I've installed a couple kits for people, and I've never had a problem with DDM tuning.

I've got their cheapo "raptor" kit on my accord, 35W, 3000k in my lowbeams. Two of my friends have the newer raptor kits, in 3000k 9006 and 5000k H1. Later today I'm installing a kit into a benz. Later this year I'll put a set on my girlfriend's car.

Generally if a product has a lifetime warranty, it means its gonna hold up for a bit.

Then, DDM it is. By the way, are you guys only purchasing the low beam HID kit or both low & high?
are the low beams 9005 & high beams 9004?

i purchased just low beam. but generally speaking you don't need to hid your highs imo with all the light out put you get. Even though i do want to do that in the near future though

Hid doesnt work very good as a high beam, they take too long to warm up, by the time they do there will be oncoming traffic and youll have to turn them off, which means another few mins of warmup wen u need em again. If you want super bright brights then go with a 100w halogen and upgraded wire harnes

I have some DDM 3000k 55w high beams in my CB. If you live in the back woods with a lot of deer and rather large animals that tend to run out in front of cars, they will do great. They also keep people from pulling out in front of you and not seeing you.

Same I do a lot of country driving. I just use Nokya yellows as highs and honestly they work great. They also cut through thick fog really well.
