here's mine. i dremeled out the fins and the emblem, bondo'ed over the hole with a piece of steel backing it, bondo'd the 2 pieces together, sanded it down, and painted it flat black. will be wrapped with carbon at some point.

i removed the oem badge and repainted the back side of it red. i have Euro R badges that will be in the floating center once i make the bracket for it.

my 90-91 grill with the chrome bezel sanded and painted black and cleared. center h bezel cut off the surround and put back in place. to mimic the accord type r in europe.
and to top it off a customed 3rd gen emblem on the corner.

the center emblem surround has been shaved down since then so the emblem sits out more.
