take it to the honda dealership. if im not mistaken. by law they have to fix it. if its not working then its a safety hazard.

i heard same "free of charge" rumor aswel. all good if you live in the states. up in canada they won't even look at one of mine, and they can't get any parts if i wanted to pay....
