Anybody on here ever used 2000 grit to sand thier fog lights? How was the outcome, did it leave stratches etc? I want to do mines, but dont want to ruin them.

Man i just got some high grit rubbing compound and buffed mine they look brand new

use 2000 grit then use a buffing wheel

i like to use sand paper, mag and aluminum polish, and then plastic polish. later.Comment

You could also wetsand them with 1500 or 2000 grit, then clearcoat them. Use something similiar to test/practice first.Comment
