But that also means the chances of having to use spacers to clear the calipers right?

Or are you talking about wheels that actually look like this ) ( ...?

no just a low offset like a +10

            They cave in.

So, Champcoupe, do you know what the lowest offset we can go before having to worry about spacers?

Honda FWD are initially high offset wheels. OSL i would recommend looking around to see others have done with similar wheel setup you are looking for to get an idea of width and offset.

                Those Rotas are incredibly sick.

But then what else would you expect from Rota?

I think the thought process is wrong on this.
The lower the offset, the further out the wheel sits from the hub. So the futher out it sits from the caliper. So no need for spacers. People run high offset wheels, like ITRs, and need spacers, because the wheel sits really close to the hub and caliper, therefore there is a need for a spacer to clear the caliper.

you wont need spacers for a wide wheel with a low offset. you would need spacers for a wide wheel with high offset like 17x8.5 +65. i have seen a cb with 17x10 +10, but it looks like ass bc you have to slam the car and roll the fenders to keep the wheels under the car. 16 or 17x8 with a 25-45 will look good.
