Power Folding & Heated Mirror Question

I currently own power folding mirrors but they are not installed, I need the switch and relay (I believe). Just have some questions regarding power folding mirrors and heated mirrors for CB's.

    1) For the PFM you only need the PFM mirror, switch, and relay correct?
    2) I have seen two different switches for PFM online for EG's, EK's, DA's, etc but they said it will work in our cars. It looks like they will fit. I'll post pics below.
    3) Has anyone successfully installed the heater from the heated mirrors in the PFM unit? (if it is possible)

(Which is the correct switch or will they both work?)

I have power folding mirrors that are heated with '96-'98 3.2TL lenses. Check the classifieds for the heated lenses if you're in need.

Like you said, you only need the mirrors, the switch and the relay. The switch for our cars would be the top one that you listed. I recently bought my relay through a best offer on eBay for $21 shipped. When I bought my mirrors it was not included.

      Thanks!
So to clarify, what part of the heated mirror system gives the heat?

From what I understand from your reply Jarrett the heating is in the lense and all I would have to do is swap the lense (and whatever is mounted on the back of it?...[if there is]) into the PFM unit? Is there any plugs I have to plug it for the heated mirror in the PFM unit?

How do you guys wire it up anyways?
Because if there is only one button for opening and closing the mirrors, and I have the extra space on the dash taken for the OEM foglight button. How would I activate the heating on the vents?

The way I was instructed to do it by lucifer1 (I value his opinion more than most when it comes to electrical) was to run the two wires that each heating element on the lens have to connector number 503 (I think) on the back of the interior fuse box. It's a 2-pin connector that plugs into the rear defrost relay. That way when you press the rear defrost button the mirrors heat as well. To get the wires outside of the mirror I just got some extra mirror pins and ran them out of the factory connector.

          Oh alright thanks Jarrett.
Does anyone know how the relay wires up for the PFM mirrors?
I'll try to search for one, there must be one somewhere on the site lol.

There is a DIY for just the jdm power folding mirrors. Wiring is fairly easy and is detailed. Just search it in the DIY section.
