    Driver Side Window Replacement

my window was broken this weekend and im thinking of replacing it myself.
any one got pictures of how i would do it?
and how much did it cost them to have it professionally done, and how much for one from a salvage yard?

Shouldnt be too expensive from a junkyard... maybe 25-50 bux. It isnt very hard either. Just take off your door panel cover. there are snaps around the edges, pull out, and they pop out. and there is one screw in the armrest, and one in the handle. The handle has to be slid forward or backward.. not sure which, then you flip off the connector rod. after that, slide the door up, and unplug any wires for power stuff.
You should then see the thing the window is attached to. You may have to manually get it to go up/down, not sure. But the window has 2 screws in the bottom... take them out, and put everything back in reverse.

The easiest thing to do is take the door apart like he said above. Just remove the handle and screw and pop it off (it just snaps on). Use a flashlight to see inside the door and try to see if anything else is damaged. Just go to a junkyard and pick out the pieces you need. Its really VERY easy and I've had to reconnect one of my windows to the door motor, took it out to clean it off, you kind of have to pull it out at an angle, but its not hard at all, and put it in at an angle too. Also to reconnect the window to the motor, use Silicone II Window Sealant (I think you can get it in black and gray) but that will keep it from sliding off the track again.
