        hands down,

go to walmart and buy some "Dawn Power Dissolver" its in a blue spray bottle. Your spray it on, walk away for 20 min, come back with a hose and all the gunk melts off. Its for dishes and is safe for your hands so as far as i know it is safe for engine stuff. Go buy some it really works. We used it on my brothers CB7.

Yeah i like simple green alot!!! That shit works and its cheap ....go to home depot and buy a gallon of that stuff for like 9 bucks and pour it into a spray bottle spray the motor let it sit and then use a power washer(go to a self service car wash) and blast off all the dirt. you may want to do it twice just incase you didnt get it all in the first shot!

basicly i like to use the degreaser they sell at autozone. but the dawn works good cause it doesnt eat your paint.

What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

STP engine foam. works good and you can wash it off with a regular hose(no need for pressure washer.

u kno if u dont want to use any thing...get a power washer or go to a truck station that has one and just wash down the engine...the build up will be blown away from the power washer, and then anything left behind u use a cleaner or degreaser...

alot of places around town offer power washing...its like a self car wash but really they use power washers..and are great and affordable, 2 bucks for 8 minutes.
