    Airbag removal

I searched, I read, I need to confirm the knowledge I think I've acquired. Okay, Basically, I need to disconnect the battery, pull the SRS fuses and wait for any residual electricity in the system to dissipate, correct? Let's say I turn on the headlights and let it set for about fifteen minutes. I should then be able to get the airbags out without blowing them up, correct? The mechanical part I'm cool on. It's that accidental electrical misfire that I would like to avoid.

When i took out my airbag module, I just took it out.

Meaning, with the wheel removed, and making sure im static free, I just unscrewed the airbag, module from the wheel

are you putting the airbag in the EX as well? make sure you know exactly what it is you are doing before you even try it!.

also remember, taking the airbags out of a regestered, driving vehicle that came with them is illegal

Thanks for that advice. Does this also hold if I part out the vehicle? Once I get my coupe, I will use many parts off of my SE sedan for the coupe, and sell others that I can't use. No I don't know what I am doing. Yes the airbag will try to get installed into the EX coupe. Hopefully with a lot of reading and careful planning, the process will work. It will be a learning experience for the whole site.

no, only if you are driving the vehicle. i guess i should have said it is illegal to own and drive a car in which you or someone else removed the airbag if one came with it.

Doesn't the SE coupe only have a driver's side airbag?
