That'd be hard to do since they don't make all-clear 92/93 coupe taillights.

Will, you'll obviously need the outer red/clears for a sedan.

As for the inner lenses I'm honestly not sure. The orange part is the lens itself.

PM CB7_91/DX and see if he'll reveal how he did his.

i havent really ever looked at a 92/93 coupe trunk and a 90/91 trunk side by side, but they look nearly identical. you could always just swap trunks and buy the 90-91 red/clears

i already swapped from the 9091 to the 9293 coupe. if i cant find out how to make the 9293 coupes red/clear then i will either get the 9293 sedan trunk or go back to my 9091 trunk.

if anyone can find some more info on these it would be very much appreciated

must swap coupe trunk to sedan. never made any red/clear for coupe. only difference between coupe and sedan is the trunk key-hole location.

that's LummieCB7's old coupe. To my memory, he didn't finish the project. The outers are regular 92-93 red/clears, but the inners require some cutting. I'm not sure how he managed to do it, but it appears he got some inner 92-93 red/clears and cut out the clear part. He then did the same to the amber parts of his 92-93 coupe trunk (cut them out). The next step is befuddling, so I'll try and explain it clearly. He took the cut clear pieces and retrofitted it into the cut-outs of the coupe inner lights (where the amber used to be). The trunk keyhole is in the way, hence the problem. The clear piece has to be meticulously cut for the keyhole to work. Hope this made sense.

CB7_91/DX made his own red/clears in a DIY; this same technique is used in making the coupe red/clears.

The issue is that yes, I have seen clears on ebay, but they're not of this generation style light. It's these nasty ones instead: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/chrom...ht_3408wt_1165

The trunk swap wouldn't be tedious at all, just the trick is finding one of your color, otherwise you'd have to paint it. Which isn't a big deal either, except that it's mildly annoying. There's the 4D red/clrs on ebay, and these:

I am seriously considering doing this too def. sick of my tails now.

                      life is good.

ok here is the problem, the 9293 sedan and coupe lights that are on the trunk. the amber pieces are different lenghts. the coupe piece is about a 1/2 longer. and there wasnt any all clear tailights made for the coupe or any aftermarket taillights. so there is no way for me to do a diy. bc there is no clear piece that is the same lenght as the amber piece for the coupe. so i guess i am gonna give up until i figure out how to do it.

                        thanks for the help guys.

To do this you would have to have the inner all clear tail lights. Make a template of what you need for the coupe lenses. Trace it on the all clear brake area lenses. (Makes the key hole a lot easier) and then silicone it onto the existing coupe inner full tail light.

                          Get it?

Nobody makes anything for the coupe 92 93 tail lights.

I meant to buy a 92 93 sedan all clear tail light. Preferrably the passenger inner rear. make a template of the size from the coupe lense. Cut it out the sedan all clear and then silicone it on the coupe inner tails.

You did mention for a diy so thi is one alternative.
