blue high beam bulb?

Thats Phempas car. They are called PIT bulbs available for 8.73 on Sport Compact only. Thats 8.73 for the high beams, then another 8.73 for the low beams. Hell of a deal if you ask me.

Actually you can just get a colored bulb, it is not brand specific. In the case above the bulb is blue. If you get a purple or yellow bulb it will reflect whatever color the bulb is in the high beam housing without the bulb being on.

The whole thing with blue lights being illegal, your eyes are most sensitive to blue light at night, so if someone is coming down the street with bright blue lights they'll screw up your vision completely.

Xenon bulbs are most commonly found on cars with HID light output...seen on couple of vehicles on here.

there are xenon knock-off bulbs on ebay that give off the same effect of blue, but are not as bright and dont help the driver see as well...i believe the xenon bulbs are like 10+shipping if that on ebay.

So basically what you are saying is that in order to get that Xenon Bulb affect( a Good one, but not as good as the high end cars) you have to buy an H.I.D kit and then get the Xenon Bulbs?

If you buy an HID kit you are getting REAL Xenon bulbs along with the balast in the kit. You can use the fake Xenon bulbs in your high beam because you dont use the High beams as much as the low.

Any hyper white bulb will give you that effect. My Eurolite Fusious look about like that and I had some Nokya's in my truck that also did only they wern't as good of light output but they lit up pretty blue. The Fusions are blue compared to stock but not that blue unless your next to a stock car. I have also had Eurolite Crystals that also were like that. Basically any blue tinted hyper white bulb will do that.
