odd problem with my mp3 cd or headunit

So i just got a pioneer cd/mp3/wma headunit and i burned a few mp3 cds through windows media player. I have like 150 songs or so, maxed out the CD.
But when i play the cd on my pioneer headunit, not all the songs are played, it goes through maybe 100 songs? then i will put the cd in my sony sound system thing i have at home, and i will hear songs that weren't heard from my pioneer unit. I went through the cd several times and it's weird. Even looked through the manual to see if it's a mode or something.
The only way i see ALL the songs i burned is if i put the cd back into my laptop and then everything will show up again.

Did you burn them all at once or in sessions? Do you have folders set up? Is it possible that some of the files aren't mp3? What head unit are you running? I never have any problems with mp3 discs in my DEH-6800mp. I've got discs with hundreds of songs in multiple folders and never have a problem.

Hmmm, that is weird. Have you tried burning a new disk? Maybe there was something screwy in the burn.

i actually have another disc, but i haven't noticed anything on the other one yet cause that one has less songs.
Do you think the problem is the cd, the way i burned it, or the headunit?
cause once i find out what the problem is, i can contact the company and ask them.

i burned these CD's with windows media player (newest version), so does that make all the files in wma format? my headunit is capable of playing wma files.
