ive got one almost cut out and fitting right but i was just wondering if any of yall have done this and what method you used to do it?

You could've cut out an mdf template and mounted that to the rear deck and then the speaker to the baffle.Comment

tell me that you arent trying to secure a sub to the flimsy ass sheetmetal that the rear deck is made of???
Do like sonikaccord said and cut out a piece of MDF in the shape of the rear deck and cut your sub holes out and router the edge to flush mount the subs in there."you can catch me swoopin 4G coupin switchin lanes" haha haha.

haha yall are too late. i re inforced the metal and put the 10's where the stock rear speakers are and now im making box's for the 10's. then hookin my amp up. it actually looks really clean. and it has a good thump but without all the rattleMy cb7

Technically you don't have to use a box. If you have them sealed up well, meaning no backwave/frontwave cancellation issues, you essentially have a small IB setup. The only bad part is you may not get much output with 2 10's IB.Comment
