The best option
Honest, the best option if you want to retain a stock look is to get a unit similar to the JL Audio clean sweep.
You can read more about them here
There are cheaper ways to do it, and you can find them at Wallmart, but I would still suggest something like I posted above, because I enjoy sound quality.
Hope this helps.

pretty much all you need is a LOC (line out converter) which takes the signal from your speaker wires and convert them into RCA's that you can use with your amp.
this is how i have it set up. but without a LOC i just made a makeshift RCA and cut them...but it won't be as clear or hit as hard if you just spend the money on a LOC.
and wire your remote wire to the antenna and the amp will turn on. without wiring up to the front to the HU

well ill say...
I recommend one of these...

Now u can go and spend a few houndred one one a processor unit spoke of above.
But I reccomend one of these because since your running a sub, and as long as the amp has a low pass filter then ur system will be set...
Since your using the oem head unit that only pushes 7 watts rms a channel I dnt think sq is a huge factor here. So that line level converter will be great for this application. It's even a four channel, so if u wanted in the future u could amp your whole system.
It's your choice what u want. But if your using sub 100$ speakers and less than 40 watts of power than, using a processor isnt gonna make a diffrance vs a line level converter. Since your main speakers will distort long before sub woofer signal quality becomes an issue.
Even if we were dealing with highs it might make a diffrance and thats a really big might. Since were dealing with low frequinceys plus the fact that it's gonna get muddied up sence it's gotta go through a seat and back deck. So... There would be no audible diffrance.Last edited by tgdrums1990; 03-16-2009, 02:53 AM.
