Shaved antenna solution

Just got my antenna today but ran into alittle problem. The power wire for antenna is the blue/white one but when I turn the radio off or even the car off, the LED is still on. in the directions it says to make sure the light goes off whenever the radio is off or the car is not running. I tried the yellow/white one but that one doesn't work either. Any suggestions? I also tried the third wire which was black but that didn't work either. Thanks in advance for the help.

That's weird, cause the white/yellow one worked for me.

Neither of the two wires everybody was talking about worked for me so I just tried something else. I ended up using one of the two wires (either one works) connecting the speakers, worked like a charm. The red LED comes on with the radio and turns off with it. Thought I would post this up just incase anybody else ever runs into this problem

some dumb ass bent mine down (i have the *** pull extend one)...I carefully corrected it...next week it happened again...broken...stupid idiots with huge backpacks on one shoulder try to squeeze past and slam my antenna...I need to do this...I miss John Tesh...I MEAN...MY METAL RADIO STATION!!...oh geez
