    gauge cluster difference?

Does it matter what year you get it out off will they all plug n play as long as its 90-93 accord?

    #2
90-91 work with each other and 92-93 work with each other. You cant switch them around the wiring or somthing or connecter is different. The 90 cluster dosent have the little " Maintence required " thing either. It has somthing to do with the fact that 92/93's have air bags. Someone correct me if im wrong.

Well lets say you have a 90 accord 2dr and go get a 90 accord cluster from a 4 door it won't work. why? because theres no wire in a 2 dr to light up the cluster for other doors...

if you have a 92 accord 4dr ex and go for a 92 accord LX 4dr cluster it will also not work. why? because there's no ABS on LX exp SE-LX...

          Correct me if im wrong

Since you have a 91 accord you should only go with a 91 accord cluster since it has the Maintence required on it and the 90 dont

I know for a auto you would need an auto clutster cuz of that PRND2L or whatever it is...is on the cluster...but for 5spd to auto...Im not for sure

true but not since auto has it on the shifter as well

Automatic cluster can be used in a manual car, wire the PRND2L lights as shift lights, VTEC lights, etc

Wire them up so they illuminate one at a time from top to bottom, like the starting lights at a drag strip

what kinda issues would you run into if you swap the parts from a 91 sedan ex manual to a 92 ex auto sedan? for instance say i wanted to get rid of the prndd21 ?? so i wanted to swap the fuel and temp gauge side?

it may not work since you have a 92 ex and the other cluster is a 91 ex.

92 accord EX has 'ABS' & 'SRS' and the 91 EX does not so it may not work correctly. your best bet is to get a 92 EX 5 speed and call it a day

What if, I were to get a dx sterring wheel since it has no airbag or cruise, and wanted to get a dx cluster so that those lights wouldnt be on my cluster. Will that work?
                              I have a 92lx.
The reason why I ask is because, I deleted my cruise, and want to get rid of my air bag also. Get me?
