    Remote Wire Help!!!

    I put 2 Alpine E 10's with a 500w Mono Amp in my car today and can't seem to find a good place to put the remote wire. I tried one of the emty slots were the fog light would plug in on the fuse box but nothing. Plz Help ASAP!!!

    On the back of your head unit, you should have a blue wire, that's the remote wire. Run a wire from there to the remote wire screw on your amp. Problem solved

      Yeah it should either say remote or power antenna. Either should work.

        It's been my experience that the power antenna wire will only work if the radio is being used since your antenna doesn't need to be raised to play a CD.

          thanks i got it, the remote wire did not work so i used the red ingnition wire

            That's not exactly the best idea, but it'll work.

              I used my radio fuse.

              along with the radio fuse I wired up a toggle switch for the "scare" effect.
