ok this thread is gonna go really slow. forgive me but now i am married man and a father! my goal is break the 150db mark on burps and be able to do 145 on music.

setup goes like this:
JVC avx-44
hertz hsk 165
memphis 3004 (75x4)
memphis 2005d (2005x1) 1ohm at 13.8 v
x2 Digital Designs 3500 12's (rated at 1200 rms)dual 4's by the way.
x2 optima yellow tops 1 is a group 31
powermaster 220 amp Alternator
various brands of 0/2 and 0/1 and 4 ga through out the car

box is still undecided at this point this car is gonna be a toy but i still wanna be able to have a stroller in the trunk another with tools.

this build has been on hold for about year due to issues with dd and there hand made recones. i finally have everything in my possession for this awsome build. by the way this is mostly my dream system so everyone knows. if every thing goes as i want and plan i will compete the fallowing year in bass race and if i get a nice compliment from a well known friend i may do some SQ stuff.

Pics should be real easy,,, here is what I do, I go to where the pic is, amd open it up, up top in your browser (safari i think) in the adress bar there is the location of your pic, copy that info and past it into the box that pops up when you click on the insert pic button.

I wish I could guess how loud music was by listening to it. But I only use sealed boxes for SQ reasons, so I doubt I'll reach 150 any time soon

i have a friend that has a termlab so if he isnt busy with it he will let me use it. provided he still has the software for it.

Ah yes, the real reason to build a sound system, so a bass note makes girls boobs bounce. Good plan. I kinda prefer the idea of just doing it so you can blow away all the homies with the crazy sound systems in the ghetto blasting their rap music with your country music

aww damn lol. It's cold and I'm in school so progress is a little slow. I built a horn baffle to mount to the car, then I'm going to bolt the horn to the baffle. This makes it easier to get the horns parallel to the ground and even to each other.

I'm thinking about kicks for the mids so I can get my stock door panels back.

Good luck with it,I just did a competion,got 2nd place,in 0-1200wt class did a 141 burp on the term lab,did a 137.8 on music,not to bad i think,first time it went on a term meter,usaully did audio control meters where it was doing 148s

those numbers sounds awsome for your power and the way the trunk is setup. with the 8's i had before i was doin a burp of 143 and doing 141 on music. thats the meter that most places are using now when world records are being set. although there is a newer audiocontrol that is being using but its reads like 1-2 dbs higher then the TL.

just an update the car is still sitting the motor is bad no compression (bent valves) so im looking for either a cheap motor or another cb to load parts into. if i can get another cb for 4-500 to sling my parts on its gonna be a 2 day swap of parts. 1 day being headlights-foglights HID's and alt. the next day will be a full system swap from batts to maybe some freshwire.
