    viper 5701

ok so, I just recieved my viper 5701 alarm, and in the install manual thier are 7 types of door locks they are:

Type A: Three-wire (+) pulse controlling factory lock relays.
Type B: Three-wire (-) pulse controlling factory lock relays.
Type C: Direct-wired reversing-polarity switches. The switches are wired directly
to the motors. This type of system has no factory relays.
Type D: Adding one or more aftermarket actuators. These include central locking
systems without an actuator in the driver’s door, but with factory actuators in
    all the other doors.
    Type E: Electrically-activated vacuum systems.
Type F: One-wire system - cut to lock, ground to unlock.
This is a very rare system found mainly in early 90’s imports and some newer
    Hyundais.
Type G: Positive (+) multiplex. One wire controls lock and unlock using
    resistor(s).
Type H: Negative (-) multiplex. Same as Type G system, but uses (-) pulse
    instead.
Note: You can use a 456L door lock learn module for Type G and H, instead of
    relays and resistors.

im trying to find out which one our cars use, i know its not A or B since those are both pulse type locks, well at least im pretty sure its not either, and ive installed a cheapo door lock system on my other accord 5 years ago but never knew which type it used, but this one i need to know because it affects how i install the alarm, so anyone know?

    thanks

ok i think i may have found this out but not 100% sure, i was reading a thread on a different site and they said if you ground either the lock/unlock wire it'll lock/unlock, and according to this, it narrows it down to F,G or H

You ground the lock wire to lock or the unlock wire to unlock so you need more than one wire. The third wire is more than likely driver's priority unlock.

Three pin connector with just two wires. Blue and green wires connect them to black/white black/red. Just test which wire locks and unlocks.

i was about to tell you they are green wires, but after looking at my wiring i see why you said black, its because the green wires dont go outside of the door, the black ones have to go across the car , then go into the drivers door to the relay, which makes them the ones to use, ok now that i have my interior pretty much stripped, lets get this party started lol, this will take time even though I only have to wire 12 wires, i have to run back and forth to my apartment to solder, because i dont have electricity in my garage....yay...oh i didnt realize the time, i guess i start after lunch hehe

The lock/unlock wires are in the drivers kick hooked up to an unused plug

Not the same alarm but most of the vipers wire colors are about the same ive installed the 5900SST on my 94 coupe and the 5901 on my 95 sedan. Both installed with audio sensor, battery backup, and tilt sensors.
