    Bass issues

Today i just put my sub back in my car because i had previously thought it was blown.it wasnt , just a faulty ground wire. I had hooked it back up and now it doesnt thump anymore like it used to before i took it out. I turned the gain all the way up just to see if it would thump and it barely flexes. Here are my spec to the amp and sub:

    (AMPLIFIER)
    Alpine MRv-f545
    V12 High Power Amplifier
    RMS Power Rating:
    125 watts x 4 chan. @ 4 ohms
    250 watts x 2 chan. (Ch 3-4 Only) @ 2 ohms
    500 watts x 1 chan. (Ch 3-4 Only) @ 4 ohms Bridged

    (SUBWOOFER)
    Pioneer TS-W309S4
12" Single 4 ohm Champion Series Subwoofer
    Power Handling:
    Peak: 1,400 watts
    RMS: 400 watts
    Impedance: Single 4 ohm

I have the amp bridged on channel 3-4 and i can barely feel or hear any bass. Most of my bass is from my speakers.Im running infinity Kappa speakers all around(6x9 in the deck , 6.5 in the front) and 6 independent tweeters.2 on the a,b, and c pillars.

It could be how you conected the cable to the sub, try fliping them cuz mine do that if its not conected right they sound like s*** or they don't sound at all -___-

When you're running 1 sub, you can't hook the polarity up wrong. And did you hook up the positive on the sub to like the positive on channel 3 and the negative on the sub to the negative on channel 4?

Not true. You can have the sub out of "phase" with the rest of the system. In fact, many amps have a 0-180 phase switch on them.

I would check your high low pass filter switch at the amp and in the deck..... make shure your subs arnt blown two run a volt meter two them and see what ohm load you get if its off you could have a loose tencel lead or blown coil....or bad connection's power ground extra there's a billion things it could be you just have two go through it with a volt meter and find the problem could be your amp or even your rca's.....good luck

I checked the ohms on the sub and its at 4.4 Ohms.its a single voice coil speaker . its still brand new and so is the radio(2 months old) .i changed the ground wire to a 0 gauge.i changed the power wire from 8 to 4 gauge. The rca's - it plays just as low with 1 as it does 2 hooked up. no change in bass at all.

I also have my rockford fosgate p.325.2 amp collecting dust. when i had it hooked up before it smelled like burning ham when i turned it on. it was set up low pass, 160Hz, 75% gain and the deck was set at 0 bass.i opened it a few minutes ago and i didnt smell anything or see any burn spots/marks on the board.

And do you have sub control on the deck?

Is the first pic saying the crossover on 3/4 is 2khz? Do you have sub control on the deck?

Mabe turn up your bass on your deck above 0?
OK it sounds like your subs coil is burnt pull it out and look at it with a flash light and see if your coils burnt. If its not copper in color it's dark then you have burnt your coils ie. They're blown omost just a little more play and no more sub. I could be wrong so I would check. If you have tryed 2 different amps and got the same results its deff your subs or your RCA output on your deck. There's not many other reasons you wouldn't get sound.
