i have a 90 accord wanting to put in a 92-93 antanna with motor included. how do i wire it so that it goes up and down when radio is on?
mine didn't come with a motor.
and plus how would the aftermarket radio affect it?
would it still go up and down if it were hooked up to an aftermarket radio?

There should already be a harness already ran and wired up though the car for the power antenna, so theres should be a plug somewhere in the trunk, find it and the antenna cable and plug those in...Also the harness should have a wire already ran to the existing harness on the back of the radio, so when the ingnition & radio comes on, the antenna gets power and goes up. As for the aftermarket receiver, as long as you use the factory harness/receiver harness and dont make your own with the wire you pick, it will also work the same as the stock radio with the antenna.

Also I could be wrong on the harnesses, but I think that most cars 90-93 dx, lx, ex all have the same harnesses in them, just some cars dont use some of the wires, but someone please correct me if Im wrong.
