From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Exhaust and Header Reccomendations

    ok so.... im tired of the fartcan on my cb7.
    i liked it for a while but now its just annoying.
    i want a Louder but more of a strong good sounding exhaust.
    what does everyone reccomend what for brand and so on.
    im clueless what to go for. and i wanna keep a budget of like
    250.00
    and what headers do you guys reccomend?!

      well my megan racing type 2 cat back sound beastly wot sound is deep and clean and sounds great all the time and is loud but not ricey plus come with a silencer if its to loud for you sounds good with it in too. i love it

        I am looking into either a Megan Header or a DC Sports header. as for the rest, test pipe/high flow cat if you like, but not necessary. and try an Apex'i or Greddy for an awesome sound.

        Or you can get a good muffler and get the rest custom from a shop for pretty cheap.

        Usually when it's not just a giant "muffler" that doesn't muffle it will sound okay. but just about any cat-back exhaust will give you a sound that is preferable to a fart can.

          Which part of Pa r u from?

          why not jus an Resonater? That will quiet down ur ricy soundin muffler, I luv my ricy as muffler, sounds like the car has power to it, which she kinda does =)

            any ebay header (cheaper the better) and a Vibrant Stealth muffler. done.

                the star is where im located.
                i wish we could do a cb7 meet somewhere around here. but all the meets are always too far. =/
