Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    hmm i wonder what one of these would do to a motor

    I wonder what this would do in a car if it could be set up to bypass the motor when you let off the throttle. Some of those turbo style industrial blowers push a lot of air. It would probably sound like one of those fan powered swamp boats though lol.

      yea probably, but who said it has to be under the hood? lol. what about installing one in a trunk and piping it under the car up to the intake?

          just go to mcdonalds, pop off the cover of the automatic hand dryer, and there you go.....an "electronic turbo" you might get eyeballed taking it out of the bathroom though lol

              My cousin actually just done something like this to his swaped b16 civic dx. He took one that looked like the Centrifugal fan and put it where the end of his intake pipe is and put the filter on the other side of the Centrifugal fan. We actually noticed a hell of a differecnce. he wired a switch to it so he can turn it on w/e. After we done this he raced a b18c teg and the driver of the teg said we were walkin him by tractor trailer lingths lol
