Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I got those cheap strut bars and I was wondering if I could fabricate a metal piece and weld it in place of the aluminum center bar. No idea though what metal would be stiff enough.

I'm not sure of the dimensions, but, what you could do is browse like eBay, get an idea of what kind of design you want and go from there.

Then, go out, measure your car, probably from the center of 1 strut bolt to the other, that'll give you a good starting number, then, figure out a way to attach it to the strut bolts.

Do some phone-calling and see if anyone at Honda can get you the dimensions or even a drawing.

Here is a pretty decent pic of one, I think. Now, just do some measurements and you should be good to go.

You really need to measure your own. I built one based off of Honda's specs and to get it to go on and off I have to put the car on jackstands, and get the wieght off of the suspension (It pushes the shock towers closer together)

                Good luck.
