Listen ive dealt with this topic before and i believe to my understanding that the h22 tranny bolts up to the f22. And my tranny had an lsd which was built by gearspeed. You can also try this with any 92-96 tranny with lsd or one with a quaife installed.

If you wanna try this with a f22 tranny i dont know if any of them came with lsd. But you can always get a spare f22 tranny and have gearspeedinc install it for you. It only takes a week turn around time.

This will aid you so that you dont have downtime with your car and you can commute until it comes through. while you send it to them tell em from mike from NYC sent you and theyll give you a discount.

They do rebuilds aswell when they change out the synchros, and gears inspect them and even clean the transmissions off nicely. If you want pictures of the work they do hit me up ill show them to you.

Or you can buy an OBX or Quaife LSD for the h22, I'm not sure if they have them for the f22, but they might

Its not gonna matter honestly to seriously make a difference imo. When it comes to the world of modding cars honestly you gotta pay to play.

Well just to be certain before you buy it, make sure it's a M2B4, it doesn't matter if it's from the US or from Japan because trannies could have been swapped and you could be getting a tranny from anywhere, so just make sure it's the LSD one you are looking for

The M2B4 is a JDM tranny, as well as all the other OEM H22/F20B etc LSD units (or EDM, depends). Regarding the USDM prelude (92-01) trannies, those were all non-lsd. Another option would be to find a dirt cheap USDM H23/H22 tranny, rebuild it + aftermarket LSD, you could even change the final drive aswell, but 4.266 is pretty decent all around.

From what I've been told, if you want LSD you need to look for the JDM m2b4 tranny. There are two other types, the non LSD, and the ATTS which I am pretty sure is only in the last gen prelude SH. What I read was that the ATTS is too difficult, or impossible, to swap into an accord. This is info from almost 5 years ago when I was buying my h22. Things may be adaptable now.

Anyway you look at it, by the time you pay shipping on the jdm tranny you are at about the same amount of money as just putting in a quaife or similar lsd.

A used jdm h22 lsd tranny costs about 350.00 shipped.
